David and Anna deLaski do things a little differently- and by differently, we me DAMN GOOD. This 2016 deLanda Estate Grüner Veltliner is a great example of the love and care they put into their vineyard and wine. Their 5-acre certified organic and Biodynamic organic estate in Los Olivos hosts Austrian varietals rather than the more common French varietals of the area. This immediately sets them apart from the rest of the winemaker's pack and promises a new and exciting wine tasting experience.
Expect bright, crisp aromas of green apple, white pepper, melon and a slight hint of lychee. Pear, honey, nectarine and citrus notes follow with a soft lemon curd twist as a finish. This is a fantastic alternative to Chardonnay, Voignier, or Sauvignon Blanc.
